Preserving Pasts, Reimagining Futures: A Discussion Workshop on Aboriginal Foodways

The TYFPC is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a FREE cooking workshop and speaker session designed to critically explore the impact of resource extraction on the food sovereignty, food security, and traditional food ways of Canada’s aboriginal peoples.

In partnership with Patrick Nadijwon and Aurora Felix of The Three Sisters’ House – Nswo Nshiimenhig Endaayaat, we will be facilitating a hands-on workshop on forms of natural food preservation as practiced by Aboriginal Ancestors. Aurora and Patrick will also then lead us in a discussion.
