CALL OUT: Graphic Design volunteer for Mélange Creative Arts Journal
The Toronto Youth Food Policy Council is looking for a youth graphic designer interested in growing their profile by volunteering for the TYFPC to design its first Creative Arts Journal.
About the Journal
Our creative arts journal Mélange, is intended to provide another opportunity for youth to think about intersections of our food system, equity, culture and their personal histories through a variety of visual and print media.
This is our first issue of Mélange and we are very excited to work with a strong youth designer to establish the look and feel for the journal. The journal launch is tentatively scheduled for January 2016, so we are looking for a designer who can act fast and wants to jump on board to help us.
The chosen designer would be asked to creatively establish look and feel for the journal, format collected content, work with Journal committee to develop a cover concept, and produce a connected event poster (working with existing TYFPC design elements (www.tyfpc.ca) and collected art submissions, both text and image).
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP, providing a short statement of interest, a sentence or two about a favourite food memory, and a link to your portfolio.
We look forward to hearing from you!
